Kardashian also had the opportunity to sit inside a gold version of the robot in Tesla’s Cybercab, a two-passenger autonomous vehicle set to start production in 2027, according to CEO Elon Musk.
While Musk’s timelines have not always been accurate, with his prediction of a million robotaxis on the road within a year in 2019 still unrealized, Kardashian seemed impressed by the Cybercab, describing it as “insane” and “crazy.” Although Kardashian’s videos don’t show her actually driving the vehicle, Musk did retweet one of them.
It’s worth noting that the Optimus robots showcased at Tesla’s recent We, Robot event were not autonomous and were controlled by humans. Therefore, it’s likely that Kardashian’s experience with Optimus was also facilitated by humans. Despite this, Kardashian did not disclose if the videos were sponsored, as legally mandated for influencers.
