Using Image Playground is a straightforward process. Users can describe an image they want to see, such as “a dog blowing out birthday candles on a cake,” and let the AI generate various image options based on that description. If the results are not exactly what you had in mind, you can provide more detailed descriptions or choose from Apple’s recommendations. The app allows users to swipe through different image options and select the one that best fits their vision.
Moreover, users can also upload photos of themselves, their pets, or family members to generate AI-created images with added elements like party hats or beach backgrounds. Additionally, users have the option to customize the art style of the generated images to suit their preferences.
For those eager to try out Image Playground, it is currently available as part of the iOS 18.2 public beta. Users enrolled in Apple’s beta software program can access this feature before its official rollout, which is scheduled for December.
