Hit-Monkey is back for its second season, and fans are in for a wild ride filled with NYC mayhem, hell, and a family reunion. The animated Hulu series, which has moved away from its original Marvel roots, features two main characters – a monkey assassin and the ghost of a human assassin. Together, they create high-octane chaos wherever they go.
The first season two trailer introduces Iris, the long-lost daughter of Bryce, the spectral mentor and partner of Hit-Monkey. Bryce, who is a ghost, embarks on a risky journey to regain his physical form. The official synopsis teases a storyline set in New York City, where Monkey seeks to leave his life of killing behind, and Bryce tries to make amends for his past mistakes. However, the cost of undoing the past remains unknown.
In addition to the family drama, the trailer also hints at plenty of antagonists to stir up trouble. Leslie Jones joins the cast as Bryce’s former agent, alongside returning voices Olivia Munn and Ally Maki. Created and executive produced by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, Hit-Monkey season two is produced by 20th Television Animation with animation by Floyd County Productions, known for their work on Archer.
Fans can mark their calendars for July 15, when season two of Hit-Monkey premieres on Hulu. Will you be tuning in to watch the mayhem unfold?
